  • A Great Way to Show Your Appreciation (May 2013)

    Omni's Oceanside and San Diego offices are proud to jointly sponsor "Operation Appreciation" on Saturday, May 18th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater. Come show your appreciation and enjoy the military displays, food, kids activities and live music.

  • Decorating the Ft. Lee USO (April 2013)

    Whether it's Christmas or not, "giving is better than receiving" so Jeff Heckert, GM of Omni's FT. Lee office helped decorate the walls of the Ft. Lee USOP by donating several handsome and colorful wall rugs displaying the emblems of the Marines, Air Force, Navy and Army. Looking good!

  • Recognizing the Single and Unaccompanied Soldier (April 2013)

    Ft. Bliss held it B.O.S.S. Bash. Some 4,000 soldiers attended this event to thank them for their dedication and contribution to the Army mission. Omni was proud to support this event by raffling off two NEX gift Card and an Apple iPod Nano. The actual drawing was held at the local Omni office on the following Saturday and was conducted by Omni GM Ofelia Webb. Pictured is Brianna Webb, Miss El Paso presenting the iPod to the winner Joslyn Herrera.

  • April 20th Veterans Airlift Command Mission (April 2013)

    On Saturday, April 20th Wounded Warrior, former SGT John Davis and his new four legged friend, were flown back home to Abbeville, SC from St. Augustine, FL, FREE of Charge, by Andre Bohy, president of Omni Financial and just one of many pilots across the country who volunteer their time, aircraft and the cost of fuel to make up the organization called the "Veterans Airlift Command." This home bound flight followed John's three weeks of adjusting to his new best friend, Chester, a service dog donated by another wonderful organization called "K-9 For Warriors" in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This flight home closed out another successful round trip mission for the Veterans Airlift Command.

  • Hopewell-Prince George Chamber of Commerce 2012 Award Ceremony (March 2013)

    Jeff Heckert, GM of Omni's Ft. Lee office, is all smiles as he shows off his "2012 Special Recognition of the Year Award." As Ambassador Committee Chairman for 2011 through July of 2012 Jeff has involved himself, and the Chamber, in programs to the benefit of the Petersburg, VA community and especially the soldiers of Ft. Lee. Congratulations Jeff.

  • And a Good Time Was Had By All at The Big Game (Feburary 2013)

    When the lights went out at the "Big Game" in New Orleans and millions of TV viewers ran to the restroom, refilled their drinks and continued snacking on Chili and chips, George Russ, Omni GM in the Fayetteville, NC office, was busy entertaining the soldiers at his own "Kick Off" party held at the Sports USA Club on FT. Bragg. Between the Omni raffle with its quarterly gifts to the winners like Montaser Alsaied shown here, the food, the electric atmosphere and oh yes, the game everyone in attendance left happy. George nice way to support the soldiers and spouses of FT. Bragg.

  • The Big Game (Feburary 2013)

    If you were a service member on Sunday, February 3rd The FT. Bliss Bowling Center was the place to be for the big game. From her strategically positioned promotional give-a-way table Omni Financial GM, Ofelia Webb of the El Paso office, and co-sponsor of the Big Game Party saw to it that all service members and their families attending the event enjoyed the food, drink, door prizes and oh, yes... the game!

  • Out of Hock Out of Debt Presentation on Ft. Bliss (January 2013)

    On January 17th Omni GM Ofelia Webb, of the El Paso, TX office conducted an "Out of Hock/Out of Debt" presentation on FT. Bliss for 30 soldiers including members of the HQs and Maintenance Platoons. This presentation was given in the motor pool facility and lasted two hours (0900 to 1100). Following the presentation there were a number of questions asked by the attendees. Ofelia was thanked by the Company Commander and told he looks forward to inviting her back for a second presentation.

  • Ft. Bragg Holiday Tree Lighting (December 2012)

    On December 6th FT. Bragg held its annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony on the main parade field. With Omni Koozies in-hand are Stefanie Russ (c), daughter of George Russ GM of Omni's Fayetteville office, and her two daughters Ziara (R) and Kiara (L). Cold temperatures couldn't get in the way of a fun night for all around and under the base tree, pictures with Santa, gifts for the kids and of course caroling.

  • "Holiday Giving" Program (December 2012)

    As thanks for providing FREE ham certificates to his men the commanding Officer of the USS San Antonio sent Dan Doyle, GM of Omni's Norfolk office, this picture and a hand-written note of appreciation.

  • A Time to Share (December 2012)

    As part of the annual Omni "Holiday Giving" program Ray Curtis, GM of the Omni's Hinesville, GA office is seen wishing 1st SGT Campos Happy Holidays after presenting him with $15.00 ham certificates for several needy soldiers in his unit. Merry Christmas!

  • Lending a Helping Hand (December 2012)

    Friday, December 7th marked the "Grand Opening" for the Ft. Lee Holiday Helper program. This organization collects toys for children of active duty parents who are struggling to make ends meet this time of year. Omni, always looking to contribute to the needs of the military, was happy to provide the refreshments for this "Grand Opening" and along with the Prince-George Chamber of Commerce provided over 200 toys. It is expected that over 800 kids will have a Merry Christmas thanks to the efforts of the FT. Lee Holiday Helper. On Tuesday, December 11th and Wednesday the 12th active duty parents will shop for their toys and their gifts will be wrapped by onsite volunteers. Omni's GM Jeff Heckert and Board President Susan Bridgeman enjoy a photo opp in front of the food table. Much better to give than receive!

  • Yes Virginia, There is Santa Clause! (November 2012)

    Every year the FT. Lee Holiday Helpers Association conducts a toy drive to support the dependent children of our fighting men and women who need a little extra help this time of year. This toy drive gets the attention of the Commanding Officer or ACS as candidates are screened to make sure those in need are the ones getting the help. Pictured below are Sarita Harding, owner of S&B Designs and a Prince George Chamber of Commerce member and Jeff Heckert, GM of Omni's Prince George office and fellow Chamber member standing in front of his four wheel sled loaded with over 200 toys. Also shown is Jeff Heckert presenting a $400 check on behalf of Omni to Carlton Branch, Vice President of the FT. Lee Holiday Helper Association. These funds will be used to provide coffee, juice and food for the main give-away event and for the volunteers wrapping gifts for two days.

  • Ft. Carson Food Drive... Part II (November 2012)

    Initial pictures of the FT. Carson Food Drive showed some of the food purchased in the Commissary and donated by the men and women of FT Carson to the Food Drive. Well, take a look at over 250 Omni tote bags stuffed with food, including a Commissary turkey certificate, for those at FT. Carson who may need a little extra help this time of year. With still a week till Thanksgiving Omni and the other event sponsors are doing themselves proud!

  • Ft. Carson Holiday Food Drive (November 2012)

    For four weekends prior to Thanksgiving FT. Carson is holding a Holiday Food Drive in front of its Commissary. As shoppers enter the Commissary they are given an Omni tote bag and asked to fill it with food for needy fellow soldiers. On leaving the Commissary these items are taken by volunteer workers and the shopper is thanked and leaves with an Omni tote. Week one saw over 700 totes filled. Omni totes will also be used to deliver over 200 meals to the needy soldiers and families of FT. Carson for Thanksgiving. Omni GM Chuck Moneypenny was more than happy to supply 3,000 Omni totes and join several other organizations in this great program of "Giving Back."

  • Newport News Omni Office Presents School Supplies (October 2012)

    As schools in United States opened for another year many found basic supplies in short supply. The Newport News schools servicing the kids of FT. Eustis were no exception. To help this situation Omni's Newport News office provided a generous quantity of markers, glue, pencils, paper and other basic learning necessities to three area elementary schools. Omni General Manager James Reed presents supplies to (L to R) teacher Sheryl Wolfson and Principal Diane Willis of the General Stafford Elementary School.

  • Chili Cook Off - Norfolk, VA (October 2012)

    As part of the Fleet Week celebration for the 137th Birthday of the Navy an "all hands on deck" Chili cook-off was held. This event held on Saturday, October 13th at NAS Oceana Main Gate Park featured competition between various commands to see who had the BEST chili. A good time was had by all as there were kid play areas, music and even an antique car show.

  • FT. Hood Oktoberfest (October 2012)

    The Omni office in Killeen, TX sponsored the Ft. Hood Oktoberfest celebration held on October 12th at the Phantom Warrior Center parking lot on Ft. Hood. At this event soldiers entered a raffle to win an Apple I-Pod. At the drawing conducted at the Omni office on October 15th the winner was none other than PFC Gina Ortega, Congratulations to Gina and enjoy the I-Pod.

  • BOSS BASH at Biggs Army Airfield (September 14, 2012)

    Omni's El Paso, TX office was more than happy to sponsor the September 14th BOSS Bash held at Biggs Army Airfield. With several thousand soldiers in attendance Omni General Manager, Ofelia Webb raffled off two NEX gift certificates while also signing up soldiers to possibly win an Apple iPod Nano at a raffle held later that week. Signing up at the Omni promotional table is James Smith and from his smile he is sure he will be the winner.

  • Ft. Lee Office On The Move (September 22, 2012)

    On September 22nd Omni Financial's Petersburg office officially opened its doors at its new location at 4229 Crossings Blvd.-Prince George, behind Starbucks, to serve the Soldiers of FT. LEE. Seen here is the "Grand Opening" ribbon cutting ceremony held on Friday, October 12th.   • Heroes Fly Free (September 19, 2012)

    Andre Bohy, president of Omni Financial and a veteran pilot for the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC), flew a Wounded Warrior Charles (Greg) Williams and his wife, Giovanna, from their home in Leesville, LA to Athens, GA to spend a well deserved week with their 3 ½ year old granddaughter who has Down syndrome. The VAC, a nation-wide group of volunteer pilots and aircraft owners transport soldiers, FREE of CHARGE, who on their own could not travel long distances for medical care or to be united with family at significant life events such as this.

    On Monday, the "hero" was Christian Tolentino of Yonkers, an Army private first class who hobbled onto a single-engine plane at Westchester County Airport with the aid of a cane and his older brother, Johnny.

    As evidence of the close relationship between the Fayetteville community and Fort Bragg, a local pilot volunteered to fly a Fort Bragg wounded warrior Aug. 17, from Grannis Field in Fayetteville to her niece's wedding in Enid, Okla., as part of the Veterans Airlift Command.
